The Human Face of Big Data Website

     The Human Face of Big Data is a collaborative effort of co-founders of Against All Odds Productions Rick Smolan and Jennifer Erwitt "to help people better understand, visualize and navigate the wild and uncharted territory of Big Data". Their book contains over 200 photographs and essays from over 100 contributors in order to help illustrate how big data is "already helping to shape and address many of the biggest challenges facing our planet". Last December, Smolan and Erwitt sent over 10,000 copies of their book to some of the world's most influential people including Warren Buffet, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, and Oprah Winfrey in order to show them how Big Data is sweeping through almost every aspect of our existence such as business, health care, government, and education.
