  1. Everyone,

This is a great visualization project and tutorial. I really enjoyed watching this and I believe it is very helpful.

One question for you: When you were moving the years (i.e. pressing play), why did it move without changing the year? I am not sure how to make this question clearer, but it seemed to me you had multiple data points per team per year (intutively, you might be better off doing this analysis using one data point per year, i.e. averages and totals per year). Is that what you did?

    1. It was a really interesting subject to discuss. The metrics used show some correlation to success on the field, but do not fully explain whether a team will be successfull or not. We plan to incorporate more metrics for a more thorough analysis when we do the DM project.

To answer your question, it actually was only showing one data point per team per year. The data points were just moving gradually from the value in one year to the value in the next year on a linear path, as the data set only included one overall EPA for each team per year.

      Thanks,

      Jay, Wes, and Julian
